Hamlet: Media Creation–Pod Cast


MEDIA TASK:

 

          In groups of _______, choose a soliloquy from Act I, Act II or Act III scene i to perform as a pod cast. Recommended soliloquies would include:


            Act I, ii, 130-160 (“O, that this too, too solid flesh would melt...”)


            Act I, iii, 10-45 (“Think it no more..”)


            Act I, v, 43-80 (“Ay that incestuous, that adulterate beast...”)


            Act II, ii, 544-603 (first OR last half of passage–“Now I am alone...”)


            Act III, i, 57-91 (“To be or not to be...”)

 

          You will record your voices using ‘Audacity’ software in the Library and your soliloquies (or long speeches) must incorporate accents, creative sound _______ and appropriate music.

 

          After you have recorded your soliloquy, you will download your recording onto an MP3 player to be played for the class in a dynamic presentation. You should also use props, visuals, costumes, lighting etc. to enhance the playing of your recording for the class.
