Licence Free Music http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/free-music-resources.html

File to allow audio file to be saved as a MP3 (lame_enc.dll)
http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/L/lame_enc.dll/-/download.html

Step one
Choose a passage of 2-3 pages that you think is important and interesting (check to make sure no one else is using the same passage)

Step two
Read the passage over a couple of times so you are comfortable with it (aloud would be best-you can use my office)

Step three
Record your passage using Audacity Software. You can also download the Audacity Software from home - see links above.

Step four
Listen to music from the Royalty-Free website and choose music that complements your passage. Add it to your podcast.

Step five
Add at least 3 sound effects to your passage.

Step six
Save your project and export the project as an MP3 file. Email the MP3 File to yourself, put it on a flash key or an MP3 player so it can be listened to in school.

Step seven
Listen to everyone’s podcast and vote on your favourite. The winning podcast will get a prize.

You will have a total of 1 hour to complete the project in class time.
