Don’t Save the Drama fo’ yo’ Mama!

[Podcasting Preparation- mood/tone)

#1:  According to the genre (horror, comedy, thriller/suspense, romance, drama,  you’ve chosen, write the next 50 words of the following story:

 

It was Wednesday night, and I was home alone.  My Kraft Dinner was cooking in the microwave and I was finishing my homework when I heard a noise…

#2:  Choose the perfect background music to start your tale, and the effects (volume, fade, echo, etc.) you would put on it from the start of your story until the end.

 

#3:  In [SQUARE BRACKETS], add 4 sound effects you could add to dramatize the telling of your story.

  

#4:  In [SQUARE BRACKETS] indicate 2 VOICE EFFECTS you could use at any 2 places to ADD to the DRAMA and feeling of your story.

  

#5:  Tell the class the story.  We’ll do the sound effects, and make the music.  Your job is to use your voice as best you can to tell the tale…
